Two very different programs, same institution
IIM Nagpur offers two programs for working professionals through the program partner — and they serve fundamentally different needs. Understanding the difference before applying could save you ₹9–12L and 1 year of your time.
Program 1: Blended MBA for Working Professionals
Duration: 2 years. Fee: ~₹12–15L + GST. Mode: Blended (online + weekend campus visits). Credential: Full MBA Degree from IIM Nagpur — not a certificate.
This is the only program in India where you can earn a full MBA degree from an IIM without leaving your job. The credential is a degree, not a certificate — which matters for some employment situations, immigration applications and further education. The 2-year duration and ₹12–15L fee reflect this.
Program 2: PG Certificate Programme in General Management
Duration: 1 year. Fee: ₹3,25,000 + GST. Mode: Online + campus immersion. Credential: PG Certificate from IIM Nagpur + alumni status.
A more accessible, faster and significantly cheaper IIM credential. If your career goal is achievable with a PG certificate from an IIM — and for most professionals in most industries, it is — this is better value.
